During the late 70s and early Eighties Jean Bernard roamed through the subterranean world of UK sound system and dedicated his photography to the promotion of the culture. Born in Morocco to French parents, JB as he initially became known, was an archetypal Parisian.

The 4 Aces Club in Dalston, London, was a legendary hub of reggae music and culture during the 1970s and 1980s.

It was a melting pot of talent, where musicians, DJs, and reggae enthusiasts came together to celebrate the music and the culture.
