Lime Cay

Lime Cay is one of Kingston’s most unique natural attractions, offering a secluded island escape just off the coast of Port Royal, Jamaica.

Located within the Port Royal Cays in Kingston Harbour, this small, uninhabited island is only accessible by boat and is typically reached within 15–30 minutes from the mainland.

Renowned for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches and untouched natural beauty, Lime Cay provides a peaceful, off-the-grid experience ideal for swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling.

Unlike many commercial beaches in Jamaica, the cay has little to no infrastructure, encouraging visitors to bring their own food, drinks and beach essentials for a more authentic and adventurous day trip.

Popular with both locals and visitors, Lime Cay is especially lively on weekends and holidays, while weekdays offer a more tranquil, private island feel
