AnimeCom Fest 2026 is Jamaica’s premier annual two-day anime, gaming and multi-genre pop culture convention.

Recognized as the largest celebration of popular culture and creative arts in the country, the festival serves as a festive hub for local animators, illustrators, comic artists and fans to network, exhibit, and showcase their talents.

• The Jamaica Cosplay Championship: Held on Sunday 16 August, this is the island’s premier cosplay showcase. Competitors across different skill sets (including a Kiddies Cosplay contest) compete for major prizes, including an all-inclusive staycation at the Riu Hotel.
• Animation & Talent Competitions: In partnership with the Jamaica Animation Nation Network (JANN), the festival hosts the TAVIA Awards & Student Animation Screening, alongside a Voice Acting Challenge, SFX Makeup Competitions, and Art Battles.
• Gaming Zones: Supported by local gaming organizations like SVG Gaming and Game Central, the con features immersive e-gaming activations and VR zones.
• Artist Alley & Marketplace: An expansive exhibitor space showcasing featured local vendors (such as Animeme) where attendees can purchase anime-inspired merchandise, collectibles, and original Caribbean art.
