OAaSIS International Foundation (Jamaica)

OAaSIS International Foundation is a not for profit NGO registered in Jamaica, devoted to nurturing creativity, culture and skills development among youth and young people across the island.

Since its founding in 2008 and formal registration in 2010, OAaSIS has focused on unleashing the latent creative potential of children and adolescents through arts, literature, performing arts, visual arts and cultural workshops — believing that creativity is a vital tool for national growth and personal development.

The Foundation runs a variety of initiatives including a Creative Workshop Series, arts career guidance via “Arts Career Libraries,” community based art clubs and youth mentorship projects that bring together artists, educators, parents and community stakeholders.

OAaSIS remains committed to “Operate, Advance and Serve in Skills (O A S I S)” — creating inclusive opportunities for Jamaican youth to explore creative careers, build confidence, and contribute positively to society.
